A manufacturer, not a middleman.
Niro-S is the safety-glove brand of Friedrich Münch GmbH & Co. KG in Mühlacker, Baden-Württemberg. Münch is a manufacturer, not a pure importer, and is run as a family business now in its second and third generation.
Its roots reach back to 1920, then in the processing of metal mesh. In 1968 Münch built the world's first safety glove made of welded stainless-steel ring mesh. Out of this metalworking, a broad range of safety gloves has grown over the decades.
Protection and comfort thought together.
Niro-S stands for industrial safety gloves with the aim of combining effective cut protection with a good wearing feel. The range spans from very light, sensitive models for precision work to robust, wear-resistant cut-protection gloves.
Depending on the use, they are coated with nitrile, latex, polyurethane or split cowhide leather, on fine knit in 13, 15 or 18 gauge. The gloves are used in metalworking, automotive, construction, electrical, food, logistics, mechanical engineering and many other fields.
What the standards mean.
Every glove carries tested performance levels to European standards, which you will find on each product page. In brief:
Basic requirements for all protective gloves: harmlessness, fit, dexterity and standardised sizes.
Protection against mechanical risks. Five test values: abrasion, cut (coupe test), tear, puncture and the ISO cut level A to F. Higher is better, X means not tested.
Protection against cold, tested for convective and contact cold as well as water penetration. Relevant for the winter models.
Protection against thermal risks and heat, split into several test categories from brief contact to greater heat exposure.
Electrostatic properties. Important in the ESD area, for example in electronics manufacturing, where charges must be avoided.
What buying from us means.
Goods ship directly from Friedrich Münch to you, with no intermediate warehouse. That shortens the route, and delivery usually takes four to five working days from conclusion of contract. Ordering, invoicing and support run through ES Handels- und Servicegesellschaft in Pforzheim, which is your contracting party.
The prices shown are final prices. The freight share sits inside the unit price and spreads across the order quantity, so the price per pair does not rise with a larger order, it falls. From 750 euros net order value the freight share drops entirely. There are no additional shipping costs, and what you pay is on screen before you place the order.
The quantity scale is open to see: single item, from twelve pairs, and from one carton. Beyond that the public price is capped and larger quantities run through an enquiry. Payment is by credit card or PayPal; for businesses we offer purchase on account by separate arrangement.
Anyone with a question about the choice gets an answer from someone who knows the range, not from a hold queue. That is the difference from a catalogue with ten thousand items: we carry a programme, not everything the market offers.
Frequently asked
Can I order on account?
Yes, for businesses by separate arrangement and subject to a credit check. Use the quotation enquiry rather than direct purchase. Consumers can pay by credit card or PayPal.
How long does delivery take?
Usually four to five working days from conclusion of contract, or from your payment instruction if paying in advance. Goods ship directly from the manufacturer to you.
Are there shipping costs?
No. The prices given are final prices including shipping; the freight share sits inside the unit price. From 750 euros net order value it drops entirely. Deliveries abroad are handled on request and the costs are then stated separately.
Are there better terms for larger quantities?
From one carton the publicly shown price is capped. For larger quantities please send an enquiry and we will quote. Those terms are deliberately not published.
What is the difference between the eco and pro series?
Both come from the same manufacturer and carry the same tests. The pro models use higher-grade backing, coating or construction and cost accordingly; the eco models are the more affordable variant for the same purpose. Most pro models have an eco counterpart.
